Most electric guitars or bass guitars have two strap buttons when they is bulding from the musical instrument factory, it's easy to use our guitar strap, just put the leather ends put on the two strap buttons. But most of acoustic guitar only have one strap button on the bottom of guitar body, where put on another leather ends of guitar strap, this is what we are talking about today.
Our guitar strap be disigned one short leather ends and one long leather ends, you can put the long leather ends on the bottom strap buttons. For another short leather ends, we have two solutions.
1. Install one strap button on the guitar neck
Yes, I must say this solutions is good way to fix the problem. if acoustic guitar have two strap buttons like electric guitars or bass guitars, the problem becomes easy to solve. we just need to find a suitable place to install the strap buttons. Check the picture below, this is the final result after install buttons.
Most of acoustic guitar have one strap button on the bottom of body, but there are still some guitars that don't have the one strap button. No matter install the strap button on neck or bottom body, As for the installation method, please refer to How to put on a ukulele strap.
Although this method is a better method, it has some requirements, you must have tools and a certain degree of practical ability. But these are not everyone can do it. So I will give you another solution.
2. Connect the headstock with guitar strap string
